-
4 tablespoons cream cheese
-
1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
-
2 eggs, boiled and sliced

A pinch of black pepper

- Spread a tablespoon of cream cheese on each slice. Top with sliced avocado, sliced boiled eggs and chopped cilantro.
- Finish with a pinch of black pepper and serve immediately.
Notes
- Avocado toast is highly customizable — try smoked salmon, sliced tomatoes, black olives, or a drizzle of olive oil for variation.
- Poached eggs work well too if you prefer them to boiled eggs; season to taste with salt, pepper or red pepper flakes.
Choose a ripe avocado — it should yield slightly when pressed. For a smooth spread, mash the avocado with a fork and season lightly with salt and pepper. Toast the bread until it’s golden and crisp, then spread cream cheese if using. Layer the avocado, add sliced boiled or poached eggs, and finish with chopped cilantro for brightness.
The contrast between the creamy avocado and the crunchy toast is what makes this dish so appealing. Adding eggs boosts the protein and turns a light snack into a more substantial meal. Simple additions like cherry tomatoes, a squeeze of lemon, or chili flakes can elevate the flavor without much effort.
Avocado toast is ideal for busy mornings because it comes together quickly and can be adapted to whatever you have on hand. It’s nutritious, satisfying and easily scaled to serve more people. Enjoy it fresh for the best texture and flavor.
