This buffalo chicken dip is the perfect dip for your next party. Your crowd won’t be disappointed once they take the first bite of this yummy dip.

This is easily one of my favorite dips. If you already know my love for buffalo sauce and ranch from other posts, it’s no surprise I’m obsessed with this combination. The spicy tang of buffalo and the cool creaminess of ranch are a perfect match in this crowd-pleasing dip.

Whenever I make this for guests there’s never much left. Many of you have probably tasted a buffalo chicken dip before — I remember my first time at a party and being instantly hooked. Over time I developed my own version and it’s become a staple at gatherings.

I use a buffalo sauce I love. It’s affordable and flavorful — I even keep a bottle on hand most of the time. Use whichever brand you prefer; the sauce level will set the heat for the dip, so pick mild, medium, or hot depending on your crowd.

For convenience I often use rotisserie chicken — it’s quick to shred and adds great flavor. Canned chicken or cooked breast meat work fine too. Whatever protein you choose, shred it so the dip has a consistent texture.

One step I never skip is warming the cream cheese with the ranch dressing, ranch seasoning, and buffalo sauce in a saucepan until the cream cheese is fully melted. This makes it easy to combine everything evenly and results in a smooth, creamy dip.

Bake for about 25 minutes and the dip will be hot and bubbly. If you prefer, you can prepare everything in a slow cooker and leave it on low during the event so guests can help themselves over time.
