Slow Cooker Baked Apple Oatmeal Cups — a wholesome breakfast that tastes like dessert. No refined sugar, vegan-friendly, and naturally gluten-free when using certified oats.

Welcome fall!
Even if the weather still feels like summer, it’s the perfect season to enjoy warm, comforting breakfasts. These slow cooker baked apple oatmeal cups deliver that cozy autumn flavor without the fuss.

I’m a fan of pie filling more than crust — give me the spiced apple or pumpkin filling any day. These oatmeal cups combine those dessert-like flavors with a hearty, portable breakfast format.

The texture is like a crisp or crumble—warm, slightly chewy oats with tender baked apple. They’re great topped with cold Greek yogurt or a spoonful of nut butter for added protein and creaminess. If you prefer a sweeter treat, a small scoop of ice cream turns them into a dessert-worthy bowl.

Using a slow cooker makes this recipe effortless. Prepare the oatmeal on the stove, hollow out apples, stuff them with the oat mixture, then let the slow cooker do the rest. The result is warm, evenly softened apples with perfectly cooked oats inside.

These are just as enjoyable at night as they are in the morning—serve them for dessert or a cozy breakfast. Top with extra cinnamon, a drizzle of maple syrup, yogurt, or nut butter.
