Caesar Chicken Wings Recipe | Paleo & Whole30 Friendly

I don’t discriminate when it comes to chicken wings — I love them all: bone-in, boneless, baked, grilled, buffalo, barbecue and even Caesar. These Paleo and Whole30 Caesar chicken wings are incredibly flavorful. If you haven’t tried marinating wings in Caesar dressing, now is the perfect time — you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

This recipe brings a fresh twist to wing night and is a fun way to explore new flavors with a familiar favorite. Caesar dressing is one of those versatile staples I keep in the fridge, and when I found a great deal on wings, combining them with Caesar felt like a natural match.

For convenience, there are ready-made Whole30- and Paleo-friendly Caesar dressings available. Using a bottled dressing saves time and avoids the extra prep steps. For quick meals like these wings, a good bottled dressing makes marinating simple: pour, toss, chill and cook. You can grill or bake the wings — both methods work well.

I stirred a few tablespoons of almond meal into the marinade to give the wings a light, breaded texture without fully coating them. The result is crispy, tasty bites with a subtle, crunchy coating that complements the Caesar flavor.

Depending on the size of the wings you use, you may need more Caesar dressing than the recipe lists. You can use drumettes, flats, or whole wings — choose what you prefer or what’s available at the store. If the dressing doesn’t fully coat the wings, simply add an extra 1/4 to 1/2 cup Caesar dressing and toss again.

When baking, line the sheet with parchment or foil to make cleanup easier and to prevent the wings from sticking because of the marinade. Flip the wings halfway through baking for even browning. Once they’re cooked, drizzle a little extra Caesar over the wings and serve.

Or enjoy them all to yourself — no judgement here.

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 pound chicken wings
  • 3/4 cup Primal Kitchen Caesar dressing
  • 3 tablespoons almond meal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large resealable bag, combine chicken wings, salt, pepper and Caesar dressing.
  2. Toss or shake the bag so the wings are evenly coated.
  3. Refrigerate for at least one hour, up to one day, to let the flavors meld.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
  6. Before removing the wings from the bag, add the almond meal and toss again to coat lightly.
  7. The almond meal will not coat the wings completely — that’s fine; it just adds texture.
  8. Place the wings on the baking sheet with space between each piece for even cooking.
  9. Bake for about 40 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through.
  10. If you prefer extra crispiness, continue baking until the wings reach your desired level of crisp.
