Cilantro Lime Tilapia with Zesty Cream Sauce

Tilapia with green sauce and couscous.
This was my first time cooking tilapia, and I don’t think I’d ever had it before either. My partner Dino had tried it several times and declared this the best he’d ever tasted — a big win! I simply seared two tilapia fillets in a little olive oil in a nonstick skillet until the edges looked opaque and the flesh flaked easily with a fork. I added minced garlic, fresh lime zest, and chopped cilantro while the fish cooked to build bright, herbal flavor. Once the fillets were nearly done, I squeezed fresh lime juice over them and stirred in a tablespoon of butter to create a light, glossy sauce that coated the fish. I served the tilapia over plain couscous for a quick, satisfying meal. It was easy to prepare, used just a few simple ingredients, and turned out delicious.
