If you haven’t tried Gluten Free Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad, make it for dinner tonight!
Pasta salad is one of those comfort foods I always miss when I’m avoiding gluten. For years gluten-free rotini was hard to find, and gluten-free pasta in general was scarce. These days it’s much easier to find good gluten-free options, so I finally recreated a favorite: Gluten Free Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad.

Recently I found gluten-free rotini at Aldi, which made this version easy to put together. Many stores and brands now carry gluten-free rotini or similar shapes, so you can use whichever pasta you prefer. The result is a light, flavorful pasta salad that’s perfect for lunch, a potluck, or a simple family dinner.

I made this for my husband and kids last year but couldn’t enjoy it at the time because my pasta wasn’t gluten-free. Seeing the recipe again while menu planning reminded me to make it with gluten-free rotini. It’s simple, satisfying, and easy to adapt to what you have on hand.
If you’re not a big fan of Caesar dressing, Zesty Italian is a good substitute. I prefer a Caesar vinaigrette rather than a creamy Caesar—the vinaigrette keeps the salad lighter and clings nicely to the pasta and greens.

What you need for Gluten Free Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad
- Gluten Free Rotini Pasta (or your preferred gluten-free pasta)
- Caesar Vinaigrette Dressing
- Cooked chicken (grilled or roasted, diced)
- Fresh spinach leaves
- Grape tomatoes, halved
- Shaved Parmesan cheese
- Crumbled bacon (optional)
This salad works served warm or chilled. I especially like it as a summer lunch—light, filling, and fresh. It brings back memories of simpler days when boxed pasta salads were a go-to and friends would gather to chat for hours. Food has a way of tying us to those moments.

Pasta salad often reminds me of a different stage of life—meals that anchor memories. I’m excited to make this with garden-fresh vegetables soon and experiment with several pasta-salad variations as my garden produces more this season.
Garden season is almost here, and I’m planning to share more updates this year. We usually plant flowers and vegetables earlier, but the weather has kept us waiting. Hopefully we’ll be planting in the next couple of weeks.

Now let’s enjoy some delicious Gluten Free Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad!
