Grilled yellow squash is a simple, flavorful side that grills well and can be served warm or chilled.

Yellow squash -
Olive oil -
Kosher salt -
Black pepper
Instructions

Heat the grill to medium-high (about 375–400°F).

Slice the squash in half lengthwise.

Brush the cut sides with olive oil and season with kosher salt and black pepper.

Place squash cut-side down on the grill and cook for about 7 minutes, until nicely charred.

Flip and grill an additional 8 minutes, or until tender. Serve warm or chilled.
