adidas Unveils Archive-Inspired Stapfen SPZL Sneaker Release

Drawing on its archive, adidas has prepared a new Stapfen SPZL that shines a light on an obscure silhouette from the brand’s catalog. The upcoming release reinterprets the design with a refined, heritage-inspired aesthetic.

The shoe uses a full suede construction in layered shades of brown. A lighter “Dust Cargo” covers the base and tongue while deeper “Brown Desert” tones highlight the eyestay overlays, heel, laces and the Three Stripes on the sides. The design is finished with a rope-style lacing detail and a flat rubber outsole for a clean, vintage look.
